Eight pieces of stunning marquetry floor border panels
Remarkable English white marble entrance stairs recovered from an English building site 20 years ago. The components form a curved entrance flight of about eight steps with two rows of beautifully crafted white marble balustered colonnades topped by a brass rail. While no photograph of the stair has survived, with some ingenuity the components could be recycled into a magnificent entry stair of the buyer's own design. Many items have been packed for 20 years, buyer should be aware that the lot comprises about 2 tons of packages containing marble. Local transport agent available at the sale.
